1. How can I get a visa after being admitted to Shandong University?
You need to apply for one at Chinese embassy or consulate in your country of residence. The application documents, sent by SDU will be needed in order to apply. You will get an X2 visa if you study in China within 6 months and get an X1 visa if you study in China more than 6 months. Due to COVID-19 you may not be able to get a visa for the foreseeable future.
2. What should I do with my visa when I arrive in China?
If you have an X1 visa you should apply for a residence permit within 30 days after arriving in China. If you have an X2 visa, there is no need to apply for a residence permit.
3. What kind of documents do i need to change the X1 visa to a residence permit?
